Invitation to 4th Conference hybrid event

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) in collaboration with the Southern African Essential Oil Producers’ Association (SAEOPA), the Economic Development and Cooperation within the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) cordially invites you to attend the 4th Essential and Vegetable oils Conference. The event forms part of the UNIDO and the SECO Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP). This initiative has launched a 42-month project with the dtic to strengthen the quality of essential and vegetable oil exports from South Africa.

Theme: Treasures of the past leading to the trophy of the future

The conference offers:

•The opportunity to network with local and international role-players in the essential and vegetable oils industry including government policymakers.
• Interactive discussions on topics like market diversity, responsible agriculture and resource-effective practices, assistive technologies, quality, and sustainability.
