Congratulations to the UNIDO GQSP SA (global Quality and Standards Project)
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share that the Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP) has received the UNIDO Results-Based Management (RBM) Champion Award.
The RBM Champion – launched for the first time at UNIDO – honors and celebrates outstanding projects that exemplify results-based management principles, strong monitoring and evaluation practices, and a culture of learning, performance and accountability.
In November, we submitted GQSP for this recognition to highlight how the programme uses RBM tools and evaluation to actively shape learning, evidence-based decision-making and adaptive management across countries. In our nomination, we emphasized the programme’s use of a strong Theory of Change and results framework, global knowledge tools, participatory reviews, and cross-country learning mechanisms to ensure that results and country feedback directly inform programme design and implementation.
We are happy to share that yesterday, during the UNIDO Global Dialogue, the award was formally presented by the Director General. The GQSP was one of only three projects to be recognized for its outstanding work.
This recognition belongs to the entire team globally whose dedication, expertise, and teamwork make a difference every day.
We look forward to building on this momentum together and continuing to turn insights into impact.
