The conference offers a unique opportunity to network with local and international champions in the essential and vegetable oils industry, alongside government policymakers. It takes place within the framework of the UNIDO and SECO Global Quality and Standards Programme, which has launched a 48-month project with the dtic on unlocking the export potential of essential and vegetable oils from South Africa. Interactive discussions will focus on market diversity, innovation in local agriculture and resource-effective practices, technologies to support processing and product development, and changing the narrative on quality and sustainability.
